PLAN C was an independent production, boot-strapped by the filmmakers, and, quite frankly, we’re still carrying a lot of debt for our production costs. 2023 was a terrible year for indie docs finding mainstream distribution: VARIETY, INDIEWIRE #1, INDIEWIRE #2. Yes, it’s bleak for independent films - just as it is for reproductive rights. But we are inspired by the courage and resilience of the advocates and activists in our film - and we know audiences will be inspired, too. We want their stories to be KNOWN. And that’s why we’re not giving up!

PLAN C contains vital life-saving information about safe options and online access to abortion pills - at a time when misinformation is rampant.

Despite restrictive laws, abortion stigma and a risk-averse entertainment industry, films aren’t censored yet! We are working hard to ensure that PLAN C reaches audiences no matter what.
